Extremely robust, comprehensive recruitment and vetting procedures are implemented to ensure that all adults working with the children are suitable to do so. This includes rigorous referencing and enhanced DBS checks.

Foundation degree in Early Years & Childcare
NVQ Level 3 in childcare
NVQ Level 2 in Childcare
(or working on an apprenticeship to achieve the above)

Lloyd is the owner of both Cherry Tree Day Nurseries and Apple Tree Day Nursery in Hilsea
Laura Gillespie
Nursery Manager, BTEC Level 3
Laura joined the nursery in 2010 as a Level 3 BTEC qualified nursery practitioner and has since progressed to becoming the manager.
Emma Young
Nursery Supervisor/Office Administrator,
Emma has worked at the nursery since 1994 under three different names, she started as an apprentice.
Roma Muscat-Fleet
Deputy Manager,
NVQ Level 3
Roma has worked at the nursery since 2007, achieving her NVQ Level 3 childcare qualification.
Molly Binstead
Deputy Manager,
NVQ Level 3
Molly joined the nursery as an apprentice in 2014 and has achieved both her NVQ level 2 & 3 childcare qualifications.
Rachel Hand
Deputy Manager,
NVQ Level 3
Rachel joined the nursery in 2012 as a Level 3 NVQ qualified nursery practitioner, Rachel has since progressed to becoming Deputy Manager in Cherry Tree's baby unit.
Brad White
Senior Room Leader,
NVQ Level 3
Brad joined the nursery as an apprentice in 2012 and has achieved both his NVQ Level 2 & 3 childcare qualifications. Brad has since progressed to becoming a senior room leader for the pre-school room.
Lauren Cooper
Senior Room Leader,
NVQ Level 3
Lauren joined the nursery as an apprentice in 2012 achieving her NVQ Level 3 childcare qualification. Lauren has since progressed to becoming a senior room leader for the toddler room.
Carla Curtis,
Nursery Practitioner
Carla joined the nursery in 2009 whilst studying for her Foundation Degree in early years care and education at university.
Denise Barnes
Nursery Practitioner,
NVQ Level 3
Denise has worked the nursery since 2004 as a NVQ Level 3 nursery practitioner working primarily in our pre-school room.
